Implications about our new enemy

Postby Imarë » Mon Jun 13, 2011 12:35 am

What, if any, implications do we see from the newly adversarial role of Sir Alfred? Will his new open hostility be seen in concrete actions? Will the suspicions about Sir Ewen being Morgathian be followed through on? Will ancillary members of the party (from the official view) be taken to question? Should Tora keep a tighter rein on Sir Baris? Are there advantages to having the sister of the king as your Peonian priest? Disadvantages? Would this suspicion of Sir Ewen give momentum to the Earl of Vemion's desire to disinherit his daughter? Should something be done in this area to hasten his departure? Now that Sir Ewen has tied his honor to solving the murders, can he backpedal any? Could he use the sister to get the king to give him a commission to look into the events? Have I used enough question marks for one posting? Discuss.

It should be fairly clear that Sir Alfred did not react as expected. You may draw what conclusions you like, but the one thing that is painfully obvious was his lack of flexibility.

It probably does not help that Sir Ewen is guilty, just not of what they suspect him of.

Sir Alfred is what many consider a good cop, he will rigidly follow the rules. As long as he does not need to figure something out he is fine.
