I voted to sell out Sir Baris.

You can decide amongst yourselves whether I cast the vote as Arnys, Quinn, the Black Knight, or Baya ...

(And Dave, it is customary to vote in one's own poll.]

I did not wish to taint the voting pool by casting one so early.

I thought Baya was gone?

But, as the person whose head may be soon on a pike (as that option is currently leading in the poll), I thought I would speak up and offer an alternative plan.

So, the acolytes saw me. Big deal. It was dark, things were chaotic, they won't necessarily know it was me. If they do, we can lay the blame for the carnage on some outside party, and say that we were protecting them from that outside party. Preferably we pick a group that the Laranians already hate, making it easier for them to believe our story. Alternatively, we could say that the mercenaries turned on the church, and that is why we killed them.

All of this, of course, rests on the Inquisitor being gone and/or not ratting on us. But, as far as I remember, the Inquisitor didn't see us when everything went to hell. We only really started the plan a few minutes ago, game time. So the Inquisitor doesn't necessarily know that we are the ones who killed his guards.

We don't know a lot. We don't know whether the acolytes recognized me. We don't know if the Inquisitor knows it was the party who attacked. We don't know if he is still close by, and thus easy for us to kill, and thus finish the mission. I say we get some more information before we start saying who we are going to sacrifice. :)

A clear example of enlightened self interest in my book. Option 1 would be so much easier on the rest of us. We shall see what the poll divines as the answer...

A winner seems to be coming into sight. I mean, if Baya votes against you...

So I'm to be thrown to the wolves?

What did I do to deserve this? :? :?

I wouldn't worry too much. Sir Ewen has yet to weigh in ...

It'd still be 3-2 against me, though. :(

Perhaps, but I'm pretty sure this is a non-binding resolution.

Now Sir Baris, you could always fall on your sword before they come to take you away

I think that Matt was right, this really is a non-binding resolution 8). For the real one we will wait until you are out of the room.
