The next morning, one by one, the warband wakes. A couple look at Dragoran, and then go "oh yeah" before clapping a hand to their forehead. Slowly, people rise and begin the day.

Next steps?

Ulauf slowly dresses himself wondering if that last mead he had last night was 'off' because his head did not seem to sit comfortably on his shoulders this morning.

With a bleary eyes and a fluffy tongue Ulauf will make the necessary trip to the outhouse...

On his return he washes his face and thinks that after breakfast he might have a wash after all it has been at least a tenday since his last one and he has got dust and dirt from one end of Orbaal to the other coating him.

But for now breakfast......

Dragoran arises from a peaceful slumber. Once awake, he goes through his usual methodical morning routine. Grabbing his razor, he heads out to get a bowl of water and shave his face clean. Once done, he heads to the outhose for the morning ablutions and then moves back inside to his belongings sifting through until he finds his Book of parchment.

He then documents the previous nights happenings. After several seconds, he puts his writing implements away and heads off for something to eat.

After breaking my fast Ulauf will spend the morning visiting the local weaponcrafter and armoured to have them check over his weapons and armour (this will be the last time they will get a good looking after till we reach our destination) and paying the necessary fees for such service.

Ulauf will spend the rest of the day speaking will locals and traders alike who have made the journey to get as much information about the road and the conditions as he can.

Late in the afternoon (should nothing else distract him) he will see how the supply situation is coming along....

Having eaten his fill, Dragoran heads to his bags, grabs his writing kit and heads into the town to see if he can add more to his 'journals'

Word comes from the castle that the requested supplies are ready and can be picked up in the morning for departure. [GM: Remind me how many mules this means - I was thinking two, but I do recall a third being mentioned.]

All are able to make the noted preparations this day, and Dragoran observes that the shipyard is already being cleared for rebuilding.

I worked out that for the group to have around 10 days rations, other supplies plus fodder for the mules we were going to need at least 3 mules.

On hearing that the supplies are ready Ulauf will gather up Sven and whoever else is available and make our way to the castle and gather up the supplies and livestock and move it closer to the clanhouse, so that we can unpack and store the gear overnight and get a good night sleep ready to leave the next day.....
