I think we can skim over the background as the warband retells the stroy of the battle of Fjaga and the resulting adventures till we arrive in Tashal. Each of the warband retelling his favourite bit or correcting another for his boasting or oversight as we sit and feast, drink and be merry through the night......

If there are no objections....

[GM: I have none - tell away. I'll assume Horveal and his older sons will partake, and it shall be a true Ivinian hall feast.]

I will assume that Lord Naarin will read our previous posts and thus save some time.....

A stirring story of battle! How many of the enemy would you say were killed in the fight?

That was a detail that we were unable to obtain as we were 'retiring'. We only found out our casualties after the fight when we scanned our depleted ranks back in Geldeheim.

Too bad, it would have been nice to see how effective our forces are against the Thardan forces. I know there was great carnage in the Lorkin area, none of the huscarls are known to have survived and escape, some 70 in total for Lorkin and it's attendant settlements (Shese and Arone). This would be in addition to the foot soldiers there. Anyone else have any idea how many of their bodies were on the ground?

Ulauf here speaks for the group - it's difficult to estimate casualties on a battlefield when one has been forced from it. The only thing that can be said for certain is that the Thardan causalties were much lighter than the Orbaalese. Most of them came before the cavalry charge.

Huumm, it sounds like I would be able to get no help in Geldeheim with my problems. Horveal can you tell me what the freelance market is like here in Tashal for warriors?

Horveal mumbles that he doesn't really know - he believes there may be a company or two, but all are heavily involved in the caravan trade.

There is a bit more talk, a bit more ale, and then a lot of sleep.
